Application for POEMA
포에마(POEMA)는 ‘시’와 ‘문학’에서 비롯된 의미를 바탕으로, 한국적인 정서와 담담한 커피 경험을 전하는 카페입니다.
포에마가 지닌 조용하고 서정적인 분위기를 하나의 일관된 브랜드 경험으로 확장하기 위해 브랜드 전략 수립부터 로고 및 비주얼 아이덴티티 구축, 패키지 디자인까지 전반적인 브랜딩을 진행했습니다.
브랜드의 핵심적인 방향성을 정립하고, 이를 바탕으로 포에마만의 시각적 언어를 구축했습니다. 로고를 중심으로 공간에서 느껴지는 차분한 인상과 커피가 가진 섬세한 결이 자연스럽게 이어질 수 있도록 브랜드의 여러 접점을 설계했습니다.
원두 패키지와 드립백 파우치, 드립백 박스는 이러한 브랜드 경험을 일상으로 확장하는 매개체로 디자인했습니다. 각각의 패키지가 하나의 독립적인 제품이면서도 포에마의 브랜드 아이덴티티 안에서 유기적으로 연결되도록 구성했습니다.
조용하지만 분명한 인상을 남기는 포에마의 태도를 시각적으로 담아내고, 공간에서 시작된 경험이 한 잔의 커피와 패키지를 통해 일상 속에서도 오래 이어질 수 있도록 표현했습니다.
POEMA takes its name from the idea of poetry and literature, creating a quiet and lyrical experience through a space rooted in Korean sensibility and thoughtfully crafted coffee.
We developed the overall brand identity for POEMA, from brand strategy and visual identity to logo and packaging design, translating its calm and poetic character into a consistent brand experience.
The project began by establishing the brand’s core direction and developing a visual language that could carry its understated sensibility across different touchpoints. The logo and identity were designed to connect the quiet atmosphere of the space with the delicate character of coffee. Extending this experience beyond the café, we developed packaging for coffee beans, drip bag pouches, and drip bag boxes. Each package was designed as an individual expression of the brand while maintaining a cohesive visual system across the collection.
Through a restrained and thoughtful visual language, the identity reflects POEMA’s quiet presence — allowing the experience of the space to remain with people through coffee and the objects that accompany it.

포에마의 심볼은 단단한 기하학적 형태를 기본 단위로 하여, 여러 형태가 서로 맞물리며 하나의 구조를 이루도록 디자인했습니다. 형태가 만나는 중심에는 자연스럽게 여백이 생기며, 단단한 형태와 비어 있는 공간이 균형을 이룹니다.
이는 절제된 형태 안에 여운을 담아내는 포에마의 브랜드 이미지를 표현합니다. 한국적인 정서와 서정적인 분위기를 기하학적 구조로 단순화하여, 담담하지만 분명한 인상을 지닌 심볼로 완성했습니다.
